How long is the battery life of my watch?
The batteries fitted in our timepieces are expected to last around 2-4 years depending on movement type. Batteries can easily be changed at most jewelry & watch stores at a low cost.

Automatic movement maintenance
Our timepieces are made to last a lifetime, we therefore only use high quality and well tested automatic movements. These movement types are recommended to be serviced at your local watch specialist minimum every 5 year for optimal performance and longevity.

Each edition features a bold guilloché dial that plays with light and depth, revealing intricate details with every glance and giving every watch its own character.

The moon's cycle: 29.53059 days

Moonphase complication explained

The moonphase indicator shows the current phase of the moon as seen from Earth, using a rotating disc with a moon and stars visible through a cutout on the dial. It advances slightly each day to match the real moon’s 29.5-day cycle. While mostly decorative today, it nods to early watchmaking, when moonphase tracking was used for navigation and calendars.

History

Our history with Moonphase watches began in 2018 with a defining collaboration with Frédérique Constant. In early 2025, we released the limited edition 1968 Moonphase. 250 pieces that vanished almost instantly.

The 1968 Moonphase collection is an answer to demand: a modern reinterpretation in four editions that elevate a classic complication.

1968 Moonphase, Rose Gold / Dark Blue

Great looking & Functional

Received the AV86 Moonphase in rose gold/dark blue recently and have been wearing it for a few days. The watch was well packaged and everything works as designed. I opted for a second watch strap and soon changed from the blue leather to the brown leather on deployment clasp. The quick change spring bars made it a minor task without using any tools.
It's a bit smaller than my dive watches which is a nice change. I particularly like the small gold hour markers on the blue dial as well as the minute markers on the outer edge. This makes it different then all my other watches and almost a dress watch. It's useful to have a quartz movement when there is a moonphase so when it's not in rotation everything stays aligned. Great purchase.

Punches above its weight

Gorgeous dial and beautiful design. A moon phase this beautiful at this price point is truly hard to beat!

Would love to see an automatic version of this.

Beautiful design

Love the design and feels solid. Would look even better with a tan leather strap, so will be looking for one to swap out. Would have been nice if this was an Automatic movement and not battery, but still a great looking watch. Setting the time/day/date/moonphase was a little tricky but expected with 4 complications after finding the manual online. Shipping was a bit of a nightmare getting held up in US customs for 2 weeks but otherwise shipping was nice and quick.

Perfect, But…

Love it. The second watch band I purchased is a definite enhancement. Actually my second AV86 but this one arrived without my requested engraving? No matter. Things happen. Great little watch.

STEEL & GOLD

We use 316L surgical-grade stainless steel from Finland, which is commonly used for fine watches and jewelry worldwide. Additionally, our models with gold plating are, of course, made with genuine ISO-certified gold plating, ensuring that the precious metals can withstand the test of time.

SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

We only use highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on all our models, combined with an anti-reflective coating for better visibility. Our products are made with Japanese precision. It may be expensive, but it is the key to lifelong quality.

MOVEMENTS (CALIBER)

We carefully select Swiss and Japanese-made quality movements, as they are simply the best in the world. We choose specific calibers from Miyota, Sellita, and TMI that have been real-world tested and proven to be 'workhorses' for optimal durability.

A-GRADE FACTORIES

We use A-grade factories and suppliers for all components, making a difference in all the small but important details. Everything, from the feel of the round steel edges to the quality feel and weight of the bracelets, dial details, quality control, and certified work environment ethic.
